■ 内航海運業

1996年、内航海運会社の大同汽船株式会社を吸収合併し、内・外航を合わせ持つ総合海運会社としてスタートしました。内航ドライ貨物部門では、提携先の日本軽金属株式会社が販売するアルミナ・水酸化アルミ等の製品を199〜499GT型の内航船で国内各地へ配送を行っています。

また、内航タンカー部門では、社船2隻による白油・LPGの国内輸送を行っています。

■ Coastal services

In 1996 Tamai Steamship Company acquired a coastal shipping company, Daido Kisen Kaisha Ltd., and became an all round shipping company offering coastal and deep-sea operations. Our coastal dry bulk shipping services are mainly aligned to the transport of bulk Alumina and Aluminium Hydroxide produced by Nippon Light Metal Company Limited. These cargoes are delivered to their warehouses throughout Japan by using coastal bulk carriers in the 199 - 499GRT range.

In addition to the dry bulk cargoes mentioned above, Tamai Steamship Company also owns coastal tanker, which transport Clean Oil and Liquefied Petroleum Gas around the Japanese coast.
